Even when I open a high usage program like Photoshop, it still doesn't excede 3.7 GB of RAM or 15% of CPU. And with 8 GB of RAM, the usage has never exceded 3.4 GB of usage and the CPU has never gone above 10% usage, even when trying to open any website through IE or MSN. I have re-booted my Desktop and watched the Task Manager while I have worked all day. It works fine on all of my Internet Explorers and will work fine on Chrome and Safari, no prolem, it will refresh or go to a link almost faster than you can click on it, but not with MSN. It will run fine for 10 or 15 minutes, then it starts slowing down and will eventually stop refreshing all together. The number one problem web site is Face Book. What can I do to get it to work the way it is supposed? Facebook is the worst, after it's been open for a while. At home I have a 14.2 GB internet speed from Qwest, which I just upgraded several months ago from a 7.2 GB. Also, on my laptop, I use it on all types of WiFi networks across the country, still no difference, no matter what the internet speed is. I would pretty much have to say that it has to do only with MSN. I use Norton on 2 of my computers and McAfee on the other 1, still they are acting the same. I can run any other program on any of my computers, and never have an issue like this, until I run MSN and Messenger, then everything else also seems to slow down. I doubt if it's a PC/Laptop issue, or a window issue, the setups are not all exactly the same, I have debugged them and run cleanup and defrag, all without anything changing how MSN works. I have a laptop with Windows 7, Quad Core, 4 GB ram, 32 Bit, and it does exactly the same thing. I have another Desktop with Vista, Quade Core and 3 GB ram, 32 Bit, and it does the exact same thing. I have a Desktop with Windows 7, Quad Core, 8 GB ram, 64 Bit, and it does this constantly. Once I do get everything open and running again, it seems ok for a shor while, then when I try to refresh a window or go to another site, it will take an extremely long time, sometimes will not open at all, just blank screen. A good share of the time, when I first start MSN Premium, it will run long enough to open 2 or 3 sessions, then will come up and say that it has quit running, and then will close.
